We are happy to announce that there will be a used curriculum event this year as a part of the CHOIS home school convention. The format will be the same as last year. We will be renting tables to sellers, who will then display and sell their own items. This format will give each seller the opportunity to evaluate and adjust pricing, make package deals, or even trade with another seller.
We will be renting tables for $10.00 each on a presale basis. The deadline to register for a table at this price is May 25, 2008. When your registration and payment are received you will receive a phone call no later than May 30 to confirm. If you have registered but do not receive a call by May 30, please leave a message at the CHOIS voice mail, 208.424.6685. Tables will be rented on a first come, first served basis. If any tables are still available by the day of the sale, they will be available for sellers at $15.00 a piece on a walk-in basis.
There are a few guidelines we are asking our sellers to abide by. Please arrange your items neatly on the top of your table. We reserve the right to request sellers to rent additional tables if their materials do not fit adequately in their space. Please assess your items honestly, check for tidiness, and ask for additional tables if you need them. We want this sale to be a positive experience for everyone. You are welcome to share your table with a friend, as long as all sale items fit neatly on top. We encourage you to bring bags and boxes for the use of buyers.
We will also have some space available for large, furniture-types of items. Large items should be clearly marked with the seller's name and once you know where your table is located, you may want to mark your large items with directions to your table, so the buyer can find you.
Please arrive early enough to set up your space and remove packaging from the area. We will not be able to have tubs of additional items displayed beneath tables. If you wish to display items neatly in tubs, they will need to fit on the top of your table.
Sellers may begin arriving to set up at 8:30am. Used Curriculum sellers will be allowed to shop from one another's tables from 9:30am to 10:00am. The sale will be opened to the public from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Please remove all leftover merchandise promptly. Anything left in the sales hall after 2pm will be considered a donation to CHOIS, and will be removed immediately, so that the space will be available to erect convention exhibitor booths. Please be considerate of the church's janitorial staff. Clean up your area before you leave, especially if you have brought food items into the sales hall!
